Privacy policy

This policy is a translation of our Swedish privacy policy. If the two versions differ, the Swedish version applies.

The tests

The tests run entirely in your browser and there are no accounts. We do not receive your answers. Your latest result is saved in your browser's local storage so that you can compare next time, and you can clear it at any time in your browser settings.

Cookies and statistics

We ask for your consent to cookies with our own consent banner. Your choice is saved in a necessary cookie for twelve months. As proof of consent, the choice is also saved with our web host Hostinger for no more than two years, together with a random ID, the time and the address of the page where you made your choice. Your IP address is not saved. The legal basis is that we must be able to show that we have your consent. The site uses no cookies for tracking or marketing, and you can change your choice at any time through the Cookie settings link at the bottom of the page.

Visitor statistics without cookies

We count visits with our own counter to see which pages are used and how visitors find us. The counter uses no cookies and stores nothing on your device. It records which page is viewed and on what date, where the visit came from (for example Google, an ad or a link), whether someone clicks our email address or phone number or submits a form, and when someone completes a test. For a completed test, only which test it was is saved, never your answers or your result. It also records whether the page was viewed on a mobile device or a computer and which website or campaign led here. IP addresses, other details about your device and IDs that could be linked to you are not saved, so the figures cannot be traced to a person. The statistics are stored with our database provider Supabase. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in understanding how the website is used. Daily totals are kept for as long as the website exists, and individual clicks, forms and completed tests for no more than 25 months.

When you contact us

If you email us, we keep the email and your address for as long as we need to reply and follow up on your matter, for no more than two years.

You have the right to know what data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, and to object to the processing. Email hello@shayanparsai.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).
