Free spatial reasoning test
Twelve questions where you picture shapes in your head: nets folded into solids and cubes, paper that is folded and cut, and cubes seen from different angles. Every answer comes with an explanation.
How it works
- Nets: which solid, or which cube, do you get when the flat net is folded up?
- Folding with cuts: a sheet of paper is folded and cut. What does it look like when you open it again?
- Cubes: could two cubes with symbols be the same cube turned around? On the hardest level you compare three.
- Each question has its own timer: one minute for the folding questions and 45 seconds for the cubes.
Choose two numbers, left box first.

Spatial reasoning questions test how well you can turn and fold shapes in your head. This test has four types: nets that fold into prisms, pyramids and other solids, cube nets, folded paper with cuts, and cubes where you decide whether they could be the same cube seen from another side. The questions come from our own engine, so you get new ones every time you start.

Practice one task type at a time:paper folding (nets to solids), folding with cuts and dice. You see the answer and the explanation right after each task.
Frequently asked questions
What is a paper folding question?
You see a sheet being folded and cut, and choose what it looks like when it is opened again. This test also has nets that you fold into cubes and other solids.
Is there a trick to the cube questions?
Pick one symbol and follow it: which symbols sit next to it, and which way does it point? If a symbol is turned differently or has the wrong neighbor, the cubes cannot be the same.
Do I get new questions each time?
Yes. The questions are generated when you start, so you can retake the test without recognizing the answers.
