Add your certificate to LinkedIn
Every test on Logiktester gives you a certificate with its own credential ID. Here is how to add it to your LinkedIn profile, and how an employer can check that it is genuine.
Why we have the tests
Many employers ask applicants to take a logic or personality test early in the hiring process, for example Matrigma, Alva Labs, SHL or Aon. If you have never seen the task types before, much of the time goes on working out the format.
That is why we build practice tests with the same kinds of tasks and the same time pressure. Everything is free and you do not need an account. After each test you see the right answers and the rule behind them, and you can download a certificate.
What the certificate shows
The certificate shows the name of the test, your name, the date and your result, split by part or level. The personality test shows your profile instead of a score. In the top right corner is the credential ID, nine digits, and the address where it can be verified.
You get the number when you enter your name before downloading the certificate. Without a name you still get the certificate, but without a number.
How to add the certificate to LinkedIn
- Take a test and enter your name before you download the certificate. That gives it a credential ID.
- Click Add to LinkedIn in the box under the certificate button or on the verification page. LinkedIn opens with the name, issuer, date, credential ID and link filled in.
- Check the details and save. Add a skill if you like, for example Logical reasoning. The certificate then appears under Licenses & certifications on your profile.
Prefer to do it by hand?
Open your profile, choose Add profile section and then Licenses & certifications. Fill it in like this:
- Name
- the test and your result, for example Squid IQ Test: 16 of 18 correct
- Issuing organization
- Logiktester. Pick the company page from the list, and our logo appears.
- Issue date
- the month and year on the certificate
- Expiration date
- leave empty
- Credential ID
- the number without #, for example 103129951
- Credential URL
- logiktester.se/en/verify/?nr= followed by your number
These are the field names when LinkedIn is in English.
How an employer checks the certificate
Someone reading your profile clicks the link under the certificate, or enters the number on the verification page. There they see the name, test, result and date as they were saved when the certificate was downloaded.
If someone has edited the name or score in the PDF, the certificate will not match what we have. A number we do not have means the certificate did not come from Logiktester.
What the certificate is not
The tests are taken online, at home and without supervision. The certificate shows that you took the practice test and what result you got. It does not show that you did it without help.
The result is not Assessio's, Alva Labs', SHL's or Aon's, and we never give an IQ score. See it as proof that you have prepared and know the format.
Which tests give a certificate
All free tests, practice tests and task practice give a certificate, and so do the personality test and the Squid IQ Test. You find them under Free tests and Practice tests in the menu.
Frequently asked questions
Does the certificate cost anything?
No. The tests, certificates and verification are free, and you do not need an account.
Do I have to enter my name?
Yes, if you want a credential ID. Without a name an employer cannot see who the certificate belongs to, so you get it without a number.
What do you store about me?
The name you enter, the test, the result, the date and the credential ID. No answers, no email and no IP address. The privacy policy has the details.
Can I delete a certificate?
Yes. Email hello@shayanparsai.com with the credential ID and we will delete it. After that the number can no longer be verified.
Why is the Logiktester logo missing on LinkedIn?
The issuer was typed in as text. Edit the certificate and pick the Logiktester company page from the list. The Add to LinkedIn button does this for you.
